The desire to continue making floral blocks is the primary reason I designed the new block-of-the-month "Baskets" quilt. I am a very asymmetric person and love the layout of this new quilt. As with my original quilt, this one has some very personal touches in it. My Grandmother who taught me to embroider when I was 6 years old was named Lilly; so I included the "Lilly" block in memory of her and if you think we spelled the name wrong, we didn’t! Every country I have traveled to has dandelions—they are such a happy color! I designed "Dandy Flowers" as a worldwide symbol of unity. One last mention of flower choices, I have a lovely friend in Portland, Oregon who for several years has been urging me to design a block featuring a hydrangea. I can now report that she is delighted with the inclusion of her "special request" into the new quilt. I could relate a story for each block I designed, but suffice it to say, every one is special and has lots of heartfelt thoughts behind it.

These are the purchasing options for our block-of-the-month quilts:
- Auto Ship: We will send you one kit at the beginning of each month until all 13 kits have been purchased. We bill your credit card for each individual block plus postage when it is shipped.
- Entire Quilt Purchase: When all 13 kits are purchased at the same time, a substantial discount is provided.
- Individual Kits: You may purchase any block-of-the-month kit at any time at your convenience.
- Patterns: You may purchase just the patterns individually or as a full set. When you purchase a full set of block-of-the-month patterns, we include the 13th pattern, "Putting-it-all-Together" at no charge.
- About Our Kits: Any kit purchased directly from Wild Thymes Pattern Company includes the pattern and all the felted wool needed to complete the design.
